1. What is the Metaverse?The Metaverse is an online, social, virtual world where people can interact with each other and the world itself. People can work, play, shop, socialize or do anything else they can think of that is within the limitations of their virtual environment.So who cares? And what's this got to do with crypto?Well, if you're just learning about the Metaverse now, you're probably not familiar with the two largest crypto Metaverses, Decentraland (MANA) and The Sandbox (SAND). These two virtual worlds allow you to buy virtual real estate within their virtual worlds with real money that can appreciate exponentially. These Metaverses have made legitimate millionaires in just a few years if not months. Additionally, players can earn their tokens just by playing the game which leads into our #2 main point - Play-To-Earn Crypto Gaming! 

2. What is Crypto Gaming? Also known as Play-To-Earn (P2E) Gaming.

Crypto Gaming exists with or without the presence of a Metaverse. P2E is essentially a new way to make money simply by playing video games. Many people disagree with this philosophy because gaming doesn't add any value to the world where "real life work" does. In my opinion, that is a very simplistic and old way of thinking about what value really means.One of the most notable Play-To-Earn games is Axie Infinity (AXS) and features little Axies like the one below.

A player must purchase 3 of these Axies for about $30 each. You can then battle these Axies with other players from across the world to earn money in the form of Smooth Love Potion (SLP). Think of this as a form of accelerated and highly speculative dividend investing. You purchased the assets and you are able to "work" out daily dividends. While the current earnings of Axie Infinity are quite low, only a few dollars per day, they used to be much more. In mid 2021 some gamers were earning hundreds of dollars a month just by playing.
